For care homes
Protect parking for families, carers, and staff, without treating your car park like a toll booth
Care home car parks get taken over by station commuters and non-residents, leaving no space for the visitors and staff who actually need it. ReadyPark protects your spaces for the people who should have them: safeguarding and duty of care first, enforcement only where it's needed.
You already know the problem
A family arrives to visit a resident and there's nowhere to park. A carer is late for a shift because a commuter took the last space near the entrance. A car park that isn't managed makes moments like these harder than they need to be, and that reflects on the home, even though it's not really about parking.
Most parking companies solve this by treating your site like a retail car park: cameras, charges, and an appeals process built to be ignored. That's the wrong tool for a care setting, and it's exactly the kind of thing families and regulators notice. ReadyPark is built differently, for sites where trust matters more than ticket revenue.
What ReadyPark actually gives your home
Space kept free for who it's for
Station commuters and other non-residents colonising your car park are identified and can be charged or turned away, without touching the visitors, families, and carers who are meant to be there.
Low-friction whitelisting
Staff, regular family visitors, and contractors go on a whitelist once and are never troubled again. No passes to print, no barriers to fumble with while carrying shopping in for a resident.
Supports your safeguarding duties
Staff can see at a glance which vehicles are on site and confirm who's present if it matters, supporting your safeguarding responsibilities, while keeping data collection proportionate to what a car park needs.
Nothing that puts your reputation at risk
Proportionate charges, real human appeal reviews, and generous grace periods, so a genuine mistake by a visiting family member never becomes a complaint about your home.
Duty of care
Built for a sector where trust is the whole point
Care homes carry a level of scrutiny most sites don't, from families, from regulators, from your own duty of care to residents and staff. A parking system that looks like aggressive surveillance undermines that trust before it's even about parking.
Everything ReadyPark collects on your car park has a defined, lawful purpose, a fixed retention period, and a documented process behind it, set out in full on our data protection page.

Questions care home managers ask us
Do we have to charge for parking?
No. Many of our care home sites use ReadyPark purely for visibility and whitelisting, with no charges issued at all. Charging non-residents is entirely optional and agreed with you.
Will this upset families and visitors?
Whitelisted family and regular visitors are never charged or challenged. The system is aimed at commuters and non-residents taking up space that should be theirs.
How does this help with safeguarding?
Staff get a live, accurate view of which vehicles are on site, which supports incident response and can be cross-checked against expected visitors.
What data do you actually keep on visitors?
Number plates and timestamped entry/exit images, retained for a fixed period and then deleted, exactly as set out on our data protection page.
