ReadyPark supports permit-based parking alongside pay-and-display or pay-by-phone sessions. Permits are ideal for regular users (staff, residents, or contractors) who need reliable, recurring access to your site.

Types of permit

You can create different permit types to suit your operation:

• Staff permits: Unlimited or restricted-hour access for employees
• Resident permits: For residential developments with allocated or unallocated parking
• Visitor permits: Time-limited, single-use or multi-use permits for guests
• Contractor permits: Temporary access for work periods
• Zone-specific permits: Restrict permit holders to designated areas of a larger site

Issuing permits

Permits are issued from your dashboard. You enter the vehicle registration and set the permit type, start date, and expiry. The vehicle is then automatically recognised as authorised when it enters your site.

Permit renewals

Permits can be set to auto-renew or to expire and require manual reissue. For sites with a large number of permit holders, bulk import via CSV is available.

Enforcement against non-permit holders

If your site is permit-only, any vehicle that enters without a valid permit will be automatically flagged and a Parking Charge issued. The ANPR system checks every plate against the permit list in real time.
